Snap

Neil MacKenzie Matthews has worked in the music, fashion and advertising industry for over 4 decades.

This is a small collection of pictures taken from his second book: SNAP! Music Photography Volume 2.

It is an eclectic mix of photos from studio shoots for record companies, live gigs, parties, personal portraits and sessions for the music press, from the early 1980’s to the late 2010’s. The photos will take you on a journey through the record collection of your musical youth. They are a peek behind the curtain to the centre of the action, and are guaranteed to make you smile

Whitney Houston
comment on Flickr Shot at Blackwall Tunel Studios on 10th & 11th December 1985. She was here shooting the video for “How Will I Know”. She seemed very shy and spent most of her time in between takes in her changing room. it made getting good shots of her quite tricky. © Copyright Neil Mackenzie Matthews All Rights Reserved
