A structural engineer by training, Robert Souster has always had an interest in the built environment.
The pictures in this gallery all have this theme in common. From Bristol to Vienna, cityscape to village square, whole buildings and design details, popping colours to black and white, old and new – but all showing human design in creating places and spaces to live, work, rest and play.
Of all creatures, the ability to creatively solve problems (with beauty and interest) is uniquely human and, Bob believes, reflects something Divine in the makeup of humankind, and something he hopes his pictures celebrate.
